Art has always been a part of my life. When I was a child, I would draw in class when I could not focus, and later on in my teenage years, I would write sappy love poems while skipping school to “escape” it all. Although, for a time, I did not feel connected to anything after the passing of my father, that would all change when I attended summer school. I discovered my second love, painting, after writing. Something had changed within me, and I could be entirely present without all these anxieties getting in the way.

Since 2023, I have dedicated my free time to furthering my artistic practices. My process is intuitive, as I am always trying to better understand myself and the constantly changing world around me. Mental health is a topic near and dear to me, so I will continuously advocate for it and revolve my work around it. My other interests are exploring different ways of depicting the human form, representing the woman’s body, and our relationship with the natural world.

I work mainly with acrylic and oil pastels and experiment with charcoal, photography, and sculpture. I am currently living in Maryland and pursuing my undergraduate degree in Film and Media studies at Towson University.
